Jesse Norman is an MP, writer and campaigner who presently serves as Financial Secretary to the Treasury, where he is responsible for HM Revenue & Customs, and tax and infrastructure policy. He was educated at Oxford University (MA, Classics) and University College London (MPhil, PhD, Philosophy), where he also taught.
Jesse is the author of numerous books and pamphlets, including acclaimed biographies of Edmund Burke and more recently Adam Smith, which won the Parliamentary Book Awards in 2018. He is an enthusiastic cyclist, hill-walker and amateur jazz musician.
