Cliveden House is easily reached by rail and road. It is close to London, Oxford and Heathrow Airport.

By train: The two nearest stations to Cliveden are Taplow and Burnham.

Alternatively, Maidenhead station is approximately 5 miles away.

By car:  From M4: exit J7, follow signs to A4 Maidenhead. Turn right at the roundabout onto Lent Rise Road towards Burnham. Continue along Taplow Common Road to the junction with Cliveden Road. Turn left and follow AA signs to the Festival car park.

From M40 exit J4 onto A404 towards Marlow. Exit left onto A4155 (Marlow  Road) towards Bourne End. Follow signs for Taplow and Cliveden (NT). Pass the Hedsor Gate entrance on Hedsor Rd/Bourne End Rd and turn right onto Cliveden Road and follow AA signs to the Festival car park.

One of London’s foremost and best-loved bookshops, they offer a thoughtful selection of new books across the humanities, and a range of services that includes quarterly catalogues, mail order, subscriptions and libraries.

John Sandoe’s have been running the Festival bookshop since the inception of the Festival in 2017 and we are delighted that they will be supporting us once again. At the Festival you will be able to purchase not only the latest publications of all our featured authors, but many of their other books too.
