Susie Boyt FRSL is the author of seven acclaimed novels and the much loved memoir My Judy Garland Life which was serialised on Radio 4, adapted for the stage, and shortlisted for the Pen Ackerkey prize. She writes columns and reviews for a wide range of publications and recently introduced and edited the ghost stories of Henry James for Penguin Classics. This spring a play she co-wrote about TS Eliot and the music-hall artiste Marie Lloyd was staged at Wilton’s Music Hall. Susie also works for Cruse Bereavement Care as a counsellor and is a Director at the Hampstead Theatre in London.
