Stephen Greenblatt

Stephen Greenblatt, Cogan University Professor of the Humanities at Harvard, is the author of fourteen books, including the Tyrant: Shakespeare on Power; The Rise and Fall of Adam and Eve; The Swerve: How the World Became Modern; and Will in the World: How Shakespeare Became Shakespeare.  His honors include the Holberg Prize; the Pulitzer Prize, the National Book Award, the James Russell Lowell Prize (twice), and the Mellon Distinguished Humanist Award.  He is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the American Academy of Arts and Letters and the Accademia dell’Arcadia.
