Mishal Husain is host of The Mishal Husain Show, an award-winning global interview podcast from Bloomberg Weekend.
Mishal joined Bloomberg from the BBC, where she presented its leading news programme ‘Today’ on BBC Radio 4 and was a familiar face on the national TV news and the international channel BBC World. She chaired election debates and was also known for commentating on royal occasions, including the coronation of King Charles III.In 2024 she was awarded the Charles Wheeler Award for Outstanding Contribution to Journalism. Her most recent book is Broken Threads: A Family From Empire to Independence and a children’s book, The Big Debate, is to be published in March 2027.
