Michael Moritz is a Senior Advisor to HRTG Partners. He is the former Chairman of Sequoia Capital which he led between 1995 and 2012. He was or is a longtime board member of many companies including Yahoo!, Google, PayPal, Linkedin, Klarna, Instacart and Stripe.
He is the author of several books. His family memoir, Auslander, has been named by The Economist as one of the best books of 2026. His previous books including Return to the Little Kingdom, the first major book about Apple published in 1984. He also co-authored LEADING with Sir Alex Ferguson, the longtime Manager of Manchester United, and their second book collaboration, The Games of My Life, will be published in October 2026.
