Katy Hessel is an art historian, curator, and broadcaster whose commitment to foregrounding women artists has allowed her to become one of the most exciting voices in the art world today. She has attracted a global following, bringing new audiences through her @thegreatwomenartists Instagram and The Great Women Artists Podcast. She has curated numerous exhibitions, written and presented art documentaries for BBC, and sits on the Board of Trustees at Charleston, the former home of the Bloomsbury Group. Her debut book The Story of Art without Men will be published in the UK and Europe (September 2022) and in the US (March 2023).
