Katie Law is Deputy Literary Editor of the Evening Standard. She has worked for the newspaper for almost thirty years and writes across a broad range of subjects, from book reviews and publishing trends to arts-based interviews and travel pieces. She also writes the Design Spy column for Homes & Property and is Chair of the Judges for Oscar’s Book Prize, the Evening’s Standard’s annual prize for the best pre-school children’s book of the year. Before becoming a journalist, Katie worked for both Christie’s and Sotheby’s in New York and studied History of Art at the Courtauld Institute. She lives in London, loves gardening and has three grown-up children.
