Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sustainable Development Capital LLP, an independent investment firm dedicated to efficient and decentralised generation of energy (‘EDGE’).

Jonathan has a long established track record of leadership in the environmental infrastructure, climate solutions and financial services industries. He has over 27 yearsexperience in business and investment management, including infrastructure and private equity, asset management, equity, debt, greenfield project development and construction and mergers & acquisitions.

Jonathan has advised global governments and his capital markets experience includes launching and managing a FTSE 250 investment company listed on the London Stock Exchange, private equity infrastructure funds and a company listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

Jonathan is a regular contributor to national and international press, radio, television and digital media, commenting on energy, investment, financial markets and sustainability issues.

Jonathan has a Modern History degree from the University of Oxford. He lives in London with his wife and two children.
