Hermione Eyre’s new novel, Headless Yard, a heartbreaking black comedy about artists in London in the 90s, will be published by Jonathan Cape in spring ’27. She read English at Hertford College Oxford and joined the Independent on Sunday aged 22 as staff writer in 2001, publishing the Dictionary of National Celebrity with Willie Donaldson in 2005 (Orion) and her first novel Viper Wine (Jonathan Cape) in 2013.
