Alice Thomson is an associate editor, weekly columnist, and interviewer for The Times. She has worked for the Times and Daily Telegraph for 30 years, written for Vogue and The Spectator as their restaurant reviewer and appeared regularly on Question Time, Any Questions and Newsnight. Alice presents the interview series Past Imperfect with fellow columnist Rachel Sylvester on Times Radio, now in its fourth series. In 2022, with Sylvester, she co-authored What I Wish I’d Known When I Was Young, looking at why it is that the people with the hardest beginnings in life often become the most successful adults. Alice is married with three sons and one daughter.
