Nicholas Boggs is the author of the biography Baldwin: A Love Story, published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux in the US in August and forthcoming from Bloomsbury UK in March 2026. Zadie Smith calls it “compulsively interesting and beautifully written [with] something to treasure on every page.” He is also the co-editor of Baldwin’s collaboration with French artist Yoran Cazac, Little Man, Little Man. The recipient of a Whiting Creative Nonfiction Grant as well as fellowships from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Eccles Centre for American Studies at the British Library, he lives in Brooklyn, New York.
