Deborah Davis is the BIFA/BAFTA winning, Oscar/Golden Globe nominated screenwriter of THE FAVOURITE (which she also created and executive produced), starring Emma Stone, Rachel Weisz and Olivia Colman. It won a record 10 BIFAs and the Venice Grand Jury Prize.
She is also the creator, writer, showrunner, and executive producer of MARIE ANTOINETTE (CAPA / Banijay / CANAL+) which launched on Canal+, October 2022, on BBC2, December ’22 and PBS in the US, March ’23. It has sold to more than 147 territories. She is currently developing projects with Wild Bunch/Monumental Television and HTM Television. Deborah originally qualified and practised as a lawyer.
