Luke Pepera is a writer, broadcaster, anthropologist, and historian specialised in the African past. Born in Ghana, he read Archaeology & Anthropology at St Peter’s College, Oxford. He’s written articles, including for Historic Royal Palaces, written and presented the documentary Africa: Written Out of History for Dan Snow’s HistoryHit, and been interviewed on numerous podcasts. He’s currently working on his first book, Motherland: 500,000 Years of African History, Cultures, and Identity, which Weidenfeld & Nicolson will publish in early 2025.
