
Lucy recently starred in the title role in A CRUEL LOVE – a limited 4 part drama about Ruth Ellis, based on Carol Ann Lee’s biography A Fine Day For Hanging: The Real Ruth Ellis Story.
Other cast include Toby Jones, Laurie Davidson, Juliet Stephenson and Toby Stephen
She has just wrapped a lead role in A COLT IS MY PASSPORT – a remake of the 1967 Yakuza thriller, directed by Gareth Evans.
She has also recently shot the lead role on REMNANTS, a new project directed by Ti West.
Lucy has upcoming feature film See You When I See You, directed by Jay Duplass – alongside Kaitlin Dever, Hope Davis and Cooper Raiff.
Lucy played the leading role in the Searchlight feature film THE GREATEST HITS which is now airing on Hulu/Disney+, after premiering at SXSW to great reviews.
Other recent film work includes Scott Cooper’s Netflix feature THE PALE BLUE EYE opposite Christian Bale, Toby Jones and Harry Melling and the role of Marie Antoinette in CHEVALIER, the Fox Searchlight feature film opposite Kelvin Harrison Jr. and Samara Weaving.
On television, Lucy recently was seen starring opposite Will Poulter in WHY DIDN’T THEY ASK EVANS directed by Hugh Laurie – and leading roles in THE IPCRESS FILES opposite Joe Cole and Tom Hollander, MODERN LOVE Season 2, directed by John Carney for Amazon Studios opposite Kit Harrington.
Lucy played the female lead in John Carney’s Sing Street. The film got rave reviews and received a Golden Globe nomination in the category of Best Motion Picture for a Musical or Comedy, as well as marking Lucy as one of Variety’s ‘Breakthrough’ performances from the Sundance Film Festival in 2016.
She played the role of MARY AUSTIN opposite Rami Malek in BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY for Fox / New Regency / GK Films. She also starred in MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS directed by Kenneth Branagh, playing Countess Andreyni alongside an all-star cast including Johnny Depp, Olivia Colman, and Michelle Pfieffer.
She also played leading roles in series 1 and 2 of Ryan Murphy’s THE POLITICIAN, Netflix opposite Ben Platt, Bette Midler and Gwyneth Paltrow – and opposite Naomi Watts in GYPSY (Netflix / Working Title.)
