Joanne Cash is an equality barrister whose clients have ranged from the BBC to the Daily Mail. She is currently a Commissioner on the Equality and Human Rights Commission. Over 20 years she has advised successive governments on media and privacy issues and legislative protections for freedom of expression. For her work defending free speech she has been named by Vogue as one of the 50 most influential women of her age and nominated by the Observer as a “modern freedom fighter”. As Board Chair of the behaviour change business Mind Gym, she also co-founded the award-winning social mobility programme Parent Gym.
