Helen Fielding is best known as the creator of Bridget Jones and writer of the four novels and co-writer of the screenplays of the three movies:Bridget Jones’ Diary, Bridget Jones: the Edge of Reason and Bridget Jones’s Baby. She worked for many years for the BBC and as a journalist for British newspapers including the Independent, Sunday Times, Times, and Daily Telegraph. She also worked on documentaries including the Thames TV documentary “Where Hunger is a Weapon” about the war in South Sudan. She is the author of six novels, and is currently at work on a stage musical and a TV drama series set in LA. She has two children and divides her time between London and Los Angeles.
