Blanche Girouard is an interviewer, broadcaster, writer and teacher. Her interviews – with subjects as diverse as cleaners, Catholic priests, women accused of witchcraft and market traders – have appeared in books (Portobello Voices, Voices from the Past), newspapers (The Financial Times, The Guardian, The Times) and magazines (The Oldie, The Tablet) and on BBC Radio 4 and BBC World Service. She regularly appears on stage, interviewing authors, at festivals, was nominated for a ‘Best New Voice’ award in UK Audio Awards 2018, and is currently in the process of writing her third book. When not interviewing or writing, she teaches History and Religious Studies at St. Paul’s Girls’ School in Hammersmith.
