Tom Stuart-Smith OBE is an acclaimed landscape architect and garden designer. He has designed gardens in many parts of the world, including at Windsor Castle, Chatsworth, Le Jardin Secret in Marrakech and the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, where he has created ten Gold Medal-winning gardens. The Clore Garden he has designed for Tate Britain opens in spring 2027. His design studio is based near St Albans, where he lives with his wife, Sue, and together they founded the Serge Hill Project for Gardening, Creativity and Health in 2023. He writes about gardens, generally in short, intermittent bursts.
