
Carol Woolton is the voice of jewellery: an editor, jewellery historian and author of multiple best-selling books. She has written extensively on jewellery for publications such as Vogue (US, China, Korea, Japan, Australia), Vanity Fair, Air Mail, Town & Country, and The Financial Times, and served as British Vogue’s long-term jewellery editor.
She founded the podcast in 2021 If Jewels Could Talk listened to in 157 territories and co-founded The Leopards Charity in 2016 to preserve the expertise and craftsmanship of jewellery and nurture young talent critical to its future. She’s a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths.
