Adam LeBor

Adam LeBor is a veteran former foreign correspondent who covered Central and Eastern Europe for national newspapers including The Times, The Independent and the Economist. Mainly based in Budapest, he has also lived in Paris and Berlin. He is the author of seven thrillers and nine non-fiction works. His most recent, The Last Days of Budapest: Spies, Nazis, Rescuers and Resistance 1940-1945, is the first English language account of the Hungarian capital during the Second World War. His books have been published in fifteen languages. He is currently writing The Promised Land: The History of Modern Israel.
