Georgia Beaufort was born in London and educated at Oxford. For many years she combined working on the Obituaries Desk of The Telegraph with making music, arts and historical documentaries for the BBC as well as teaching Classics. Since 2018 she and her husband Harry Beaufort have been running the Badminton Estate in Gloucestershire, home of the Badminton Horse Trials and, from 2026, RHS Badminton. She continues to write occasionally for The Telegraph, American Vogue and Tatler.
