David Reynolds

David Reynolds is Professor of International History at Cambridge (Christ’s College) and a Fellow of the British Academy. He is the author of twelve books including In Command of History: Churchill Fighting and Writing the Second World War (Penguin) – awarded the Wolfson Prize – and The Long Shadow: The Great War and the Twentieth Century (Simon & Schuster), which won the Hessell-Tiltman Prize. Both books were subjects of films that David has written and presented for BBC TV.

Most recently he has published The Kremlin Letters: Stalin’s Wartime Correspondence with Churchill and Roosevelt (Yale), with Vladimir Pechatnov, and Island Stories: Britain and its History in the Age of Brexit (HarperCollins), which appears in October.
