Mary Keen is an internationally known gardener, garden designer and writer.
The most recent of her 6 books was Paradise and Plenty, a study of the Rothschild family walled garden , which she also designed. As a designer, she has always been more interested in atmosphere and the whole setting of a garden, rather than in high horticulture . After 25 years of opening her Gloucestershire Old Rectory to groups from all over the world , she is starting life in her new small town garden and three allotments.
